Terms of Service & Warranty Conditions

1. Acceptance of Agreement

This document constitutes a legally binding electronic contract between you (the "User", "Technician", "Customer", or "Retailer") and Mitra Mobile (operating the website mitramobile.com and the Mitra Mobile Android application) under the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

By creating an account, browsing our spare parts catalog, or placing an order, you unconditionally accept and agree to comply with all terms set forth in this agreement. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must immediately terminate access to our portal and services.

2. Registration, OTP Authentication & Account Security

To place orders and access tiered wholesale discounts, users must authenticate using an active Indian mobile telephone number via a Time-Based One-Time Password (OTP). You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete delivery and business details.

  • You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your authenticated device session.
  • Mitra Mobile reserves the absolute right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide falsified shipping addresses, abuse return requests, or engage in fraudulent activities.
  • Commercial B2B accounts claiming input tax credit must furnish valid Goods and Services Tax (GST) credentials upon request.

3. Mandatory Dry-Testing Policy (Crucial Quality Protocol)

CRITICAL MANDATORY WARNING — VOID WARRANTY CONDITION: Mobile display screens, OLED/Incell combos, touch digitizers, and flex cables MUST be bench dry-tested outside the smartphone housing before any installation, gluing, or assembly.

Because mobile electronic spare parts are delicate precision components sensitive to electrostatic discharge and mechanical strain, Mitra Mobile strictly enforces the following Dry-Testing protocol:

  1. Bench Test Outside Housing: Connect the display combo or flex cable directly to the disassembled phone motherboard while leaving the protective plastic films, adhesive covers, and warranty stamps 100% intact.
  2. Test All Functions: Verify full-screen display illumination, color reproduction, brightness levels, multi-touch responsiveness across all screen zones, and digitizer calibration.
  3. DO NOT GLUE OR MOUNT: Under no circumstances should B-7000, T-7000, or any liquid glue, silicone adhesive, or double-sided adhesive tape be applied prior to completing the dry-test.
  4. Permanent Warranty Forfeiture: Removing warranty verification stamps, peeling front or back plastic films, bending connector flex cables at acute angles, or applying any adhesive instantly and irreversibly voids all warranty, replacement, and return privileges.

4. Continuous 360° Unboxing Video Mandate

To combat courier tampering and facilitate prompt insurance settlements for transit damage, Mitra Mobile enforces a mandatory 360-Degree Continuous Unboxing Video policy for all received parcels:

  • The video recording must begin before the outer carton is cut or opened.
  • The shipping label showing the tracking barcode and recipient details must be clearly focused and readable.
  • All four outer sides, top, and bottom of the package must be shown to prove the tamper-evident security tape has not been slit.
  • The opening of the box, removal of internal shockproof foam, and physical inspection of the spare part must be captured in one continuous, unedited video shot.
  • Claims of physical cracks, shattered glass, or missing components submitted without this continuous video proof will be rejected without exception.

5. Non-Returnable & Excluded Components

Certain components, by their technical nature, cannot be validated after shipment and are strictly non-returnable once dispatched:

  • Micro-Soldered IC Chips: Power ICs, charging ICs, audio codecs, and network baseband chips subjected to technician soldering heat guns.
  • Damaged Flex Cables: Flex cables with visible tears, micro-cracks, deep creases, or damaged gold connector pins caused by improper folding.
  • Glued or Screwed Parts: Any screen combo, speaker, camera lens, or vibrator that has traces of glue residue or chassis mounting marks.
  • Consumables & Tools: Soldering flux, paste, screwdrivers, opening picks, and battery sticker strips once opened.

6. Pricing, B2B Wholesale Matrix & Payments

Mitra Mobile provides transparent tiered wholesale pricing for repair technicians, retail service shops, and regional distributors:

  • Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of standard handling charges unless otherwise specified.
  • Bulk quantity discount tiers (e.g., ≥10 units, ≥20 units, ≥50 units) are dynamic and automatically calculated at cart checkout based on active inventory.
  • Mitra Mobile reserves the right to revise catalog prices without prior notice due to fluctuations in global semiconductor tariffs, currency exchange rates, or manufacturing costs.
  • Payments must be settled via authorized payment gateways (UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking) or via approved Cash on Delivery (COD) channels where eligible.

7. Dispatch, Shipping & Transit Risk

Confirmed orders are packed in shockproof reinforced cartons and dispatched within 24 business hours from our central warehouse facilities. Transit timelines range between 2 to 6 business days depending on courier connectivity and destination pin code across Bangalore, Karnataka, and the rest of India.

In the event of natural calamities, civil disturbances, or carrier force majeure, delivery times may be extended. Real-time courier tracking numbers are sent via SMS and reflected within the Mitra Mobile application.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian laws:

  • Mitra Mobile shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from improper installation, motherboard short-circuits caused by technician error, or third-party phone repairs.
  • Our total cumulative liability for any verified defective part or dispute shall under all circumstances be strictly limited to the actual purchase amount paid by the customer for that specific item.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This agreement shall be governed, interpreted, and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal action, dispute, or claim arising out of or relating to transactions on mitramobile.com or the Mitra Mobile application shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru (Bangalore), Karnataka, India.
